The Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church does not plan to attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II.
However, he has made arrangements to send a nice smoked fish platter and a couple dozen Danish. Assorted.
Nothing like a good fish platter to send off the earthly Vicar of the Fisher of Men.
