DEAR READERS

The Mistress of Sarcasm is my go-to person when it comes to finding out who’s on the YouTube qui vive.

Her latest discovery: Wizard People, Dear Reader, an alternative soundtrack to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone created by one Brad Neely, a twisted genius from Australia.

Neely’s work was released as an audiobook, one that is designed to be played while screening the first Potter film with the sound turned off. A few movie theatres actually did this before Warner Brothers sent in their briefcase-toters to shut down the practice. But meanwhile, a few short clips have been posted to YouTube by way of example, where they are likely to do for Harry Potter what the Harvard Lampoon’s Bored Of The Rings did for Lord Of The Rings. Enjoy.
