It’s the damndest sight...a Masters main scoreboard with nary a red number on it. An all-green leaderboard - every (cumulative) score above par - for the first time in fifty years.
Not even Zach Johnson, the tournament champion, managed to bring in a 72-hole total below par. He finished with a one-over-par 289. Amazing.
For a while there, Tiger threatened to make things exciting, especially with a Sunday eagle on Hole 13. But, alas...this year, Zach’s Johnson proved sturdier than Tiger’s Wood.
And so it goes.
