Here’s my response. Some of the states on my “visited” list were the recipients of very short visits indeed. Maine, a few minutes. Alaska, an hour in the Anchorage airport enroute from Seoul, Korea to Paris (!) But how anal-retentive do you have to be to want to break the list down into states where you’ve stayed overnight, states where you’ve Answered Nature’s Call, etc., ad nauseam? Why, you’d have to be anal-acquisitive: so anal-retentive that your anus actually sucks in any nearby matter. Ewwww.
